Kim Vu, PMHNP-BC, BSN-RN
Kim is the owner/CEO of Simple Solutions Psychiatry, LLC. She was born in Vietnam and immigrated to Richmond, VA with her family when she was 6 years old. Kim graduated from Douglas Freeman High School and began her college studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. After obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, she began working with the mental health/psychiatric population. During this time, her passion for mental health grew and she decided to further her education and eventually obtained her Master's Degree at VCU and became a board-certified Psychiatry-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Kim has experience working with the underserved population and has treated a wide range of mental health disorders to include mood disorder, anxiety disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia. In her free time, Kim enjoys gardening, shopping, vacationing, and spending time with her family. Kim and her husband reside in Richmond, VA and share 4 children--all boys and 2 of which are twins!
Jamesha Thomas, AAS , PRS
Jamesha is the practice manager for Simple Solutions Psychiatry, LLC. She has been working for the company since the beginning and is a notary public. Jamesha graduated from Henrico High School. She obtained her Associates of Applied Science Degree in Human Services from J. Sargeant Reynolds. She aspires to continue in her studies with the hopes of obtaining her Master's in Social Work as she has a passion for helping others. In her free time, Jamesha enjoys puzzles, reading, and vacationing. Jamesha has 2 children whom she adores.
